MS4000C - Automotive Memory Saver Combo with Built-in Charger
The MS4000C Memory Saver uses a 12V, 4.5AH spill-proof sealed lead-acid battery to provide backup power to your vehicle while the battery is disconnected, either for service or replacement. The MS4000C cable plugs into the vehicle OBDII port to provide backup power for the vehicle's electronic systems to maintain memory and settings that might otherwise be lost when battery power is disconnected. A cigarette lighter adapter is included to provide power to the vehicle systems through the 12V lighter port - for use in older model vehicles that do not have OBDII ports.
The MS4000C has a built-in charger for the internal sealed lead-acid battery which allows the unit to be charged between uses. The battery is user-serviceable and easily replaced with standard tools.
